Hey everyone. My name is Mike and I am a former radio/club dj/mc and mixshow coordinator. I began as a dj'ing at a young age which evolved into professionally working in radio as a dj, as an on-air personality, and working in night clubs and entertaining as an on-stage performer. I went from being a local dj to being recognized as a Top 100 Mix Show Dj in the US, and being promoted to a radio mix-show coordinator. I have opened up concerts for long list of popular artists such as 50 Cent, Ludacris, Busta Rhymes, just to name a few as a dj and hype man. After 10 years of working as an on-air personality and dj I felt it was time to make a change and leave the radio industry.

 

In 2006, my partner Cassidy Klein, who is no stranger to the world of pageants, and I created TexasPageantScene.com, a pageant resource where a variety of services are offered including: Music Production, Photography, Coaching, and an Online Directory where businesses that cater to pageantry are listed. That same year I began doing photos locally for pageants in my hometown and throughout Texas. Now I am fortunate to travel many places and photograph many people across the country.

That same year I put the knowledge and training I received in radio into working with pageant production with their music selection, editing, show production, and recording voice overs. I have worked with small pageants from 20 contestants to over 500 contestants; with shows taking place in hotels, auditoriums/theaters, to large venues and even productions live on television and internet streaming.

 

In addition to producing music and taking studio photos you will find me at events taking photos all over Texas as well as nationally for a variety of local, state, and national pageants. Some of my images have been featured in Pageantry Magazine, Supermodels Unlimited, Savvy Magazine, Paris Chic Magazine, aired on TV Networks such as TLC and E!, and printed in many newspapers and magazines.

 

When I am not busy doing photography, working on music production, voice overs, or editing music for events and pageants I like to travel and photograph the outdoors whenever possible. Night Photography is equivalent to "fishing" to me. You can also find me jamming out to some great electro/dance music and in my spare time I enjoy watching movies, documentaries, and educational YouTube videos online.
